I look at these pictures, and all of my political sensibilities desert me. All I can think is that the advent of Sarah Palin means I have to get a new hairstyle so people won't think I shoot wolves from a helicopter.

I have been noticing this, too, even on the first big night (small picture in your three) at the RNC. In my most charitable reading, it makes me wonder if she too is thinking, "Wow, this is really not a good idea."

Ack. Midmodern, I can relate. I totally do that thing with my straight brown hair where it's an updo but with the ends sticking out on top. I think I might stop. There must be another way.
